A Hillsborough County judge scored one for law, democracy and common sense last week by clearing the way for county voters to decide in November whether to pay higher taxes for schools. Hillsborough County commissioners should resist any urge to appeal and respond instead in good faith by scheduling the referendum. This decision belongs to the voters, not a handful of county commissioners.
